We have records that show my husband's grandmother as Fanny Bellewood (his mother's birth certificate shows the grandmother's maiden name as Bellewood) However, one of her children's obituaries says her maiden name was Aldrich. They all say she was born in Lexington, K Y. She married Clyde Adelbert Knapp in 1807and on the application she says her name is Eldridge. She married him in Lexington, Ky. She also said she had half brothers, Willy and Narvy Garrett who was born in Lexington, Ky. We do know that Narvy's parents were George Garrett and Ellen Harlow. Is there any way we can inquire about a birth certificate (June 5, 1884) since we're not sure of her real name? If anyone can help I would really appreciate it. Annie
