Doug, Are you also related to James QUAINTANCE who md in Mason Co, 26 Dec 1808, Sarah LOGAN? She was b 24 Jun 1783 & d 28 Aug 1832 in Fleming Co., KY; I believe he remarried several times. I am originally from Urbana, OH, where Meig's forces gathered in a hugh encampment to prepare for the march up to the Thames. Most of the then village was from Mason Co. and all of the able bodied men plus some who were well past their prime, including Simon Kenton, joined in the march and conflict.
