Does anyone on the list have access to marriages for Fayette County (or possibly a surrounding county) for the 1860 to 1880 timeframe? I am looking for 2 marriages, both with the wife being Mary E. Riley (b.1847 d.1895), who lived in Lexington throughout the period. The first time would have been between 1860 and 1867 to a man named Peyton/Payton. (The Peyton man could *possibly* have been from Fayette, but he might have been from Anderson, Franklin, Jessamine, or Woodford Counties.) Presumably the Peyton man died or divorced between 1870 and 1880. The second marriage would have been between 1870 and 1880 to a man named Cadwalader/Cadwallader/Cadwallander. Any/all help is appreciated.
