To Whom It May Concern: I am receiving test emails. I signed up for the Fayette County list on Rootsweb and have been receiving some email from it. My question is I'm not sure what is being posted. Is this intended for surname searches? As far as I know I only have two surname line coming through Fayette County. However, I am very interested in Fayette County history, especially the west and southwest sides of Lexington and people connected to the horses industry. I have been doing research on the Versailles and Harrodsburg Road corridors, since I served as President of the Cardinal Valley Neighborhood Association for three years. Paul Gregory
Refresh my memory folks. Wasn't there another Louisville in the western part of the state somewhere? It would be a small town. I feel like I have heard about this somewhere in my past, but it has been a long long time. These fragile memory banks of mine recall an image of that part of the state. Perhaps, in a nearby county?
