Later this year I will publish two books: Daviess County Marriages, Vol. 1, 1815-1915 (also including 1780 - 1815) and Vol. 2, 1915 - 1950 (or 1955). This will be a major publishing effort of some 1,400 total pages. I hope to include marriage photos of a few of the included marriages if possible. I am inviting anyone with old photos of Daviess County marriages to submit photos (copies only please) for possible inclusion in the books. The older the photos, the better, please no photos later than 1945. Ideally, I hope for several photos from the 1800's, any and all races. Please E-mail your photo with the names of the bride, groom and the name of the contributor. (I will provide my home address if needed.) Any published photos will include the names and date of the marriage and give full credit to the contributor. In regards to profits from these books; I expect my costs to exceed the income. It is simply a labor of love. I hope to issue the best marriage index books ever offered anywhere. Sooner or later, I plan to give the rights to our genealogical association.
