H. Mcdaniel role logs. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------- Thu 20 I made some plant beds and then I went to D F Winklers to take some cover lids home ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------- Fri 21 I burnt my plant bed, and fixed up to go to Owensboro and after dinner I helped Wm Winkler clean up ground ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------- Sat 22 I went to Owensboro with the wagon got back after night ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------- Mr & Mrs Black were his In-laws Willis John & Mary (Phillips) Black. Samuel Allen & George Husk were neighbors. The Richmonds, James & Sylvester were his 1st cousins. George Husk was James Richmonds father-in-law. "the widow Obryan" is a neighbor he helps frequently. " H H "is probably Hardin McDaniel also a neighbor. D F Winkler is David Francis Winkler, William's uncle and one of my great grandfathers through a different line. " Cover lids " were bed covers.
