I would like to thank everyone for helping me make my trip to Owensboro a success. We really didn't find more information on the Carrico & Lynches but went to the St. Alphonsus church and cemetery and found the Carrico tombstones. Had a nice visit with Sr. Vickie at Mount St. Joseph. She is now in charge of the archives and is trying to get organized. She found where 3 Lynch daughters went to school at the Ursuline school for girls. Talked to a man after a funeral at St. Alphonsus and he told me someone at the church may have records of who's buried at the cemetery. I have written to the church secretary for any records but no response yet. She only works part time. We stayed at the Fairfield in Owensboro and had barbeque at the Moonliter. Then on to Louisville to Calvary cemetery and found graves of Sr. Mary Martha Lynch and Zilpha ( Lynch ) Payne. I also saw a tombstone of Sr. Mary Gerard Payne. Does anyone know who her parents were? Spent another night in Evansville, IN. and enjoyed fried chicken at the LOG-INN, an old stage coach stop. Still looking for lost family, Jackie
