I'm not at all related to this family but just checking the 1850 census for Daviess County, Kentucky (which you have likely already done) I see that there is a Jesse Berry aged 56 and born Virginia. Jesse was married to a Sophia aged 35 and most likely a second wife as she seems too young to be the mother of the tow eldest children in the home (actually two young men, not children). The children shown were: Nancy 19, Frances J. 17, and Louisa D. 13. Sophia would have been just about old enogh to be the mother of Nancy (name looks like Nancy and was hard to read) but she would have been only about 16 when the girl was born. There was also Jefferson age 26 and Jeremiah age 23. Jefferson was shown as born in Virginia and all the rest were shown born in Kentucky.

    3. No relation, but, found a Beverly BERRY, M.D. listed in "Reflections of the Past" - a book compiled by the Maceo Historical Society. Hope this helps.
