Hi, II got this from a KY. Obituaries CD: Phil.Thompson Killed in Owensboro, Daivess County (KY) in November. 1836. by a Mr. Jefford. Story in OR 12/7. I assume the last part refers to an Ownesboro newspaper. I believe this Phillip Thompson is my gg-grandfather. Is anyone researching his family?? Is the story referred to published in any book? The following names are either children of Phillip and Sallie Moseley or siblings of Phillip: Catherine, Daniel M., Sally C., John W., Martha, Susan (all Thompsons). ANY help will be appreciated.
