I am looking for info on my gg grandfather Emmett Bassett McCormicks parents. I know that Emmett B. was born in Kentucky in April 1854-5. I believe he spent the better part of his life in the town of Owensboro(Owensborough), but don't know if he was born there. He married and had 3 children. Rodman D., Sarah D., and Emmett A. I have been told his wife died when Sarah was about three years old. So I believe he married a second time to a Lena L. Emmett B. died Sept. 13, 1930 at 76 years of age. When Emmetts wife passed away his daughter Sarah went to live with her aunt Sallie Doly or Daly, who ran a bording house in Lexington, KY......If I could get any info on Emmett B.s parents or siblings I would be very grateful.
