    3. Could someone on the list, with access to the courthouse, get a copy of Daviess Co Deed Book H, pg 408. I'd be glad to pay for it. Anna Hamilton in "Howards of Whitesville" states that Charles Howard died, without a Will, in 1845, on the 303 acre farm near Lafoone where he lived. She states that the farm was sold by the children in 1847. --- "Aloysius, Basil, Richard and all, sell the land (see book H 408 in Daviess Co. Kentucky.)" I'm trying to document that Basil, my ancestor, is s/o Charles. Basil (1801-1883) is buried in St Mary's at Whitesville. I kinda think Charles died in Washington/Marion county but Anna may have had it right. No record of a Will in Washington Co. Thanks, Tony Howard
