Judith Burger, passing this to you from a friend of mine. There were two census (1623) and 1624) taken of the residents of Virginia by the Virginia Company of London after the Good Friday massacre. Those lists are published in several places. I use the list given in Coldham's book(s) but the same list can be found other places. I have never compared Coldham's list with Kingsbury's list which I also have but do know that my families are listed the same on both lists. These lists give both the living and those killed in the massacre. The last list give the age and often the name ship and the year they came to Virginia. The list may be alpha list that some one has taken the time to do and then tryhing to make some money. Again that is on the net free on the early plantation settler and ship list. I would not pay ten dollars for just the list when for twice that amount you can buy a book with a great deal more info or get the info free on the net.
