    3. Sorry I didn't respond on the list sooner. I just woke up. Anyway, that was a test. frazier.rtf is a Rich Text File about the family of James Frazier, most of which is already online at http://www.geocities.com/~gsdownr/frazier.txt but is simply difficult to read. The rtf file has some updates and some improvements. There is no danger in downloading the file. The biggest improvement is readability. Some people can view it just fine. I asked everybody who responded last night what browser they bere using. Most of those seem to have (and this is a general rule) Internet Explorer and Microsoft Word. One webtv user also reported no problems. The people that had problems with it, were using Netscape. I think I have a big enough test group now to say "Thank you for answering". Often when I reply to people, many of whom are looking for the same families as I am in Daviess and Hancock Cos., I usually send out a txt file like the frazier.txt file link mentioned above. If this test would have been a bit more successful, I was contemplating posting these on the web as rtf files and linking them to the Daviess and/or Hancock Families pages. But since almost a quarter of viewers can't access them, I guess it's back to the drawing board.
