I am searching for the spouse of James McCarty. He was married around 1899 and his first daughter Mary Ruth was born in Nov. 1899 in Owensboro KY. By 1902 his son William was born. I know nothing about the mother of these children other than she died around 1912. Soon after, his first wifes death, James married Martha Louise Knot and moved to Franklin Co. IL James McCarty is the son of Marion McCarty b. KY and Nannie_____b. AL James had two sisters Mollie and Ruby. Does anyone have access to a marriage index for KY? If so I would love to have someone check to see if either of his marriages are there. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Judy Richardson
