Searching for information on Jeremaih Joseph O'Brien and his first family. Jeremaih was born August 4, 1836 in Dublin Wicklow County Ireland. He came to the US in 1854 to New York City. He was in KY by 1860 or eailer. He enlisted in the Civil War in Bowling green about 1861 and reenlisted twice. He was mustered out of service about 1865. He lived in KY til about 1878 when he moved to Johnson County Illinois. He was married to a Theresa Clark about around 1865-1867. He had 1 child a Mary R. Obrien born Jan. 4,1868. Theresa died around Dec. 1869 or so.
