My friend had died and others in her family were trying to find her daughter..How I found them.. First I knew that Shirley lived in Evansville,In so I got on the phone and called the county court office and asked them if they had an index of marriages..gave them her maiden name and approximate date of marriage..They looked her up by her maiden name and told me who she married ..I then had a last name to look up on death records luckily one of the funeral home directors has a web page where he puts in death notices from the local newspaper..There I found survivors and it listed her children's names..Since some were still young when she died ..I also looked up her husband's name and found that he had also died and it left his childrens names with their married names then I did a search of white page s on the internet and found one of the names..Asked for Debbie and she got on the phone..problem solved got family back together.... marriages ---county court deaths ---vital records..
