Seems I didn't clarify myself. Hope this does. USGenNet is what is having problems. They provide the FREE USGenWeb sites that you use for states and counties. I was requesting help for them only. The site I furnished IS a temporary site for USGenNet update information which was provided. http://www.californios.us/usgn/ Rootsweb has no problem at all. They are NOT related to the FREE genealogy county website. They receive money from subsciptions to Ancestry.com. I'm sorry - I was just trying to help the FREE genealogy world we have come to rely on. uoting lmoore@ecsis.net: > Let me clarify - Rootsweb was NOT asking in the email - it was totally > me as a > supporter of the genealogy world. > > I beg to differ with you though - Anyone who has tried to reach most of > the > USGenWeb sites that are housed on the server are aware of the problem > and we - > as County Coordinators have been getting regular updates. > > Please everyone - I just wanted to make you aware of the problems.
