That brings up an interesting question... with things the way they were back then (in a backwods area, no technology, etc.), how many of the dates that we have are actually accurate??? If somebody who kept a regular diary every day can get off of the date, anybody can. That's a good possibility, but a scary thought. I cross my dates up more often than I like to admit. and our ancestors didn't have all the calendars etc to keep them straight.
