This is my gg grandfather William Berry Morgan 1814-1864 Kentucky. The violin may have been bought by his widow listed as "L. Morgan", (not marked as paid). I do not know what happened to his widow. I have tried to duplicate the original spelling as closely as possible. I would love to know what area this sale took place. The 1860 census states "Burtonsville area", I expect it took place in the Masonville-Whitesville-Boston area. Do you have any idea? Do you connect to the great list of buyers? Please tell me if you do. Harold Bishop Morgan hmorgan@evansville.net Bill of Sale March 22nd, 1864 Of Wm. Morgan deceased, Wm. Ward Administrator Dining table - A. N. I'm looking at a property map of Boston Precinct in 1876. John Smith Fuqua's 150 acre farm was on the Boston Road, south of New Boston (official name in 1864, when a Postoffice was there)with Coleman Fuqua's farm joining it's east side. Basil Howards farm joins Smith on the south side along the Road. Smith had another 85 Acres joining Basil to the south. Horace Burton had 260 a. on E. edge of New Boston, and looks like a church and cemetery on his property. A. Cecil (or A. Cessell) had farm SW of town. Bet the sale was in vicinity of Boston. Tony
