It appears that the sale was on the same day as birth was given to Mary Alice Morgan. The sale report was given in the October Term of 1864 Court on October 10, 1864. The 1870 Ohio County Kentucky census shows that several of the children from William (B) Morgan and Lousia Fuqua are living with Van Buren Morgan and Mary Jane Jackson. The children are Eli (4), Mary (2) and Florence (1) along with William's children: Lewis Cass (19), Elizabeth (26) and George (12). Richard Morgan (26) and Narcrcie (21) are in the Boston district. A 25 year old "Mr. Morgan" is boarding in Owensboro.
