PILES and TATTERSHALLS have really peaked my interest, so I guess I will have to change direction to delve further into this lineage now. Here it is: Hannah Frances JARBOE, b Daviess Co., KY, d/o William B. (Blue Billy) HEAD and Catherine Sienna JARBOE, m Alfred (Alf) ABLE, b Nelson Co., KY, s/o John ABELL and Clementine MEDCALF. My gr. grandmother was Caroline (Carrie) Victoria Able, d/o Alf. Nicholas POWER,my 6th gr. grandfather, m by 1674 in St. Marys Co., MD, Sarah PILE, d/o Joseph PILE and Mary TURNER. Joseph, s/o of John PILE and Sarah JARBOE . I don't have proof of John's wife, Sarah, do you? How is Sarah related to John JARBOE? Also you say John JARBOE m Mary TATTERSHALL. Am I correct to assume that is William's sister? Whom did William's daughter, Mary, marry? I have seen a family history in St. Marys Co. that states Mary TATTERSHALL married into the PILE family.
