Beth, My ABELL,s came from MD to Nelson Co., KY. John ABELL, mar 1816 Nelson Co., Clementine MEDCALF, d/o Charles MEDCALF. Their sons were Elisha, William, and Alfred (Alf). I know they had at least one dau but don't know her name, as yet. My Alfred b ca 1824, m in Daviess Co. KY to Hannah Frances HEAD, d/o of William (Blue Billy) HEAD and Catherine Sienna JARBOE. Alfred and Frances had James, Robert, Wallace, Walter, Joseph and Caroline (Carrie) Victoria, my gr grandmother. Carrie, b 1864 Knottsville, mar 1886 Daviess Co., to William Sherman (Will) HEAD of Hancock Co. Please tell me that you recognize these names! I am willing to share my data with any cousins.
