Whitesville is abt 15 miles SE of Owensboro. Don't think we have townships in KY but many years ago W'ville was in Boston precinct. Lookin at Anna Hamilton's Whitesville records, there are a few Conreys listed. In St Mary's cemetery is: Martin K.- 1888-1957, J.C. - 1884-1943, J. D. - 1841-1922, Edith - 1857-1934. Generose- 1891-1970, Emily - 1870-1901. Florence (Conrey) Fuqua - 1872-1957 (wife of Frank Fuqua) In another of Anna's books: Stephen Robert Hagan, 1889-1906, mar Jan 29, 1889, Sarah Generose Conrey, b. Jan 20, 1871, d/o Daniel Conrey. Hope there's a clue here. Tony Howard

I am looking in Whitesville Dist for any information on (Francis) Lloyd Abell/Able b. 1843 Marion Co KY who m. Mrs. Martha Henning Hamilton ca 1855 Daviess Co KY. Thye are listed in 1870 census living with James L Brown and wife Mary Jane (Abell), and Martha's three children by 1st husband, Frances, Thomas and Benadict Hamilton. They were of the Catholic faith. I have no info after 1870 on this family, thought Anna Hamilton's book might have a mention? Beth Abel Jones
Sorry, don't see any of these names in Anna's "Howard" book or her "Hagan" book. Also not listed in her copy of residents of St Mary's cemetery. Tony Howard
