07/02/03 Messenger-Inquirer Dorothy Wilkey, 75, of 2159 N. Stratford Drive, Owensboro, died Monday, June 30, 2003, at Owensboro Mercy Health System. The daughter of the late James F. and Pauline C. Winkler, the Daviess County native was a member of Lewis Lane Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was a former employee of General Electric. She enjoyed antiques. She was involved with Owensboro Antique Mall and had a booth there for many years. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, C.J. Wilkey of Owensboro; her son, Steve Wilkey and daughter-in-law, Connie Wilkey of Fishers, Ind.; two grandchildren, Kylie Wilkey and Connor Wilkey, also of Fishers; and cousins, Joan Peyton, Bobbie J. Vargason, Margie Knott and Larry Clark, all of Owensboro. Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 3, at Glenn Funeral Home chapel. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and after 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery.
