( might be Harrison) and cut and halled a load of wood for each one of us ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------- We 21 I cut some wood and after dinner I helped William kill hogs ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------- Thu 22 I went to Samuel Allens to help him kill hogs. it was so cold we backed out and in the evening I halled some wood the coldest day all day at 2 º ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------- Fr 23 It is still cold not much done I cut and halled some wood and made 2 brooms ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------- Sa 24 We cut some wood to hall and at 10 oclock I went and helped S W Allen kill hogs it snowed and John cut wood
