I am looking for info on the Emmett Bassett McCormick family. Specifically I am looking for the name of his first wife. Emmett was born in 1854 in Daviess Co., KY. He and his first wife had three children. Rodman D., Sarah Daly (my great grandmother) and Emmett A. I believe Sarah was born in 1892 and her mother died when she was approx. three years old. I believe after childbirth (Emmett A.) I have no info on the mothers name. I know Sarah was sent to live with her Aunt Sallie Daly/Doly, who ran a boarding house in Lexington.
