Some of us were disappointed in the "short census forms" and I got this from another list and thought I would pass it along. > Copies of both short and long census forms are at this >site. You can >download it to a .pdf file. http://www.census.gov/dmd/www/infoquest.html Once you download it you can print it out, fill it out and put a copy in your personal files for future researchers to find. I received my issue of the Bulletin, Vo. 33 Spring 2000 in the mail today. It has an article about the Tornado and the damage done to the building and library in it. Since there was no roof over the WCK:FRA rooms and no way to secure the materials from unauthorized entry, it was urgent that the materials were removed to a safe location. On or about the 7th of February, a small house was rented and everything was moved there. As of the 10th of February, the work with renovation promised by the landlord was not done so there is still no place to work or reorganize the materials. There are a couple of photos in this issue and if you would like the full story it is in there. I don't know for sure but it sounds like everything is in limbo there. Does anyone know anything else? Hope this helps to answer your question. sheryl
Hello to All: Has any one heard how thing are going for the WCKFRA since the tornado. I haven't heard a thing. Thanks Chris

I would like to suggest to everybody that has not already done so to please submit your family information to Migrations. This project was designed to analyze and track migrations into and across the country for genealogical and educational purposes. The more information that is in the database, the more accurate the output will be. The Daviess Co., KY Migrations Project is located at http://www.geocities.com/~gsdownr/daviess/migrations.html. Submissions can be made to any place worldwide from the submission form linked to this page. Thank you. Patrick Hays http://www.migrations.org If your family moved, they need to be in our database!

Randy, It is my guess that Harriet Wimsatt was married to a Joseph Jarboe, not sure which one. But they had a child in the birth index named Joseph1 Jarboe who was b. & d. on the same day. Often when this happens and there is not a real name, the vital records show the infant as the father's name with a "1" after the name. Joseph1 Jarboe is listed in the birth index as b. 7/24/1923 Daviess co, KY and died on 7/24/1923 Daviess co, KY listed as U/1.
