    2. Randy Dunavan
    3. Hello Jarboe rooters..... Does anyone have any data on this family? Descendants of James Jarboe Generation No. 1 1. JAMES1 JARBOE was born Unknown. He married DELIA M. PIERCE. Child of JAMES JARBOE and DELIA PIERCE is: 2. i. RICHARD EVERETT/ ERNEST2 JARBOE, b. July 02, 1895, Grayson Co., Ky; d. February 14, 1976, Jefferson Co., KY. Generation No. 2 2. RICHARD EVERETT/ ERNEST2 JARBOE (JAMES1) was born July 02, 1895 in Grayson Co., Ky, and died February 14, 1976 in Jefferson Co., KY. He married CLARA MAY SIMS May 15, 1918 in Grayson Co., KY, daughter of JAMES SIMS and ELIZABETH ROTH. She was born August 27, 1900 in Grayson Co., Ky, and died April 12, 1982 in Grayson Co., Ky. Notes for RICHARD EVERETT/ ERNEST JARBOE: Ref: KY Death Index Randy, I think we have the same person, I just never checked the death records on this one and was going by the St Anthony Catholic Cemetery records at Peonia, Grayson Co, KY I never tried to get the exact date to see he that he died in Jefferson Co. I did that just now and you right except I think from the marriage record he is Richard Everett, where did you get Richard Edward? When Richard Everett Jarboe married Clara May Sims in Grayson Co, KY on 5/15/1918, he was listed as Everett Jarboe age 22 son of James and Delia Pierce Jarboe and she was listed a Clara age 17, dau of Dee and Betty Roth Sims. "from Grayson Co marriages 1895-1925". I have more information on both of them if you don't have it. I don't have much coming forward except they had 6 kids from the KY birth records. He had a son names James E b. 7/7/1927 in Grayson Co, KY which I show as James Everett Jarboe. I find them both listed in the KY death records as d. Jefferson Co, KY he died 2/15/976 and she died 4/12/1982. both were probably living in Louisville but were returned to Peonia to be buried with their parents in St Anthony Catholic Cemtery. Do you have their exact birth date? Do you show any siblings for Richard Everett? His mother Delia M Pierce is from a big family of Pierce's and Higdon's. Bob Alvey Children of RICHARD JARBOE and CLARA SIMS are: i. CHARLES HENRY3 JARBOE. ii. JAMES EVERTT JARBOE, b. July 07, 1927, Grayson Co., Ky. iii. MARY BERNADINE JARBOE, m. HARRISON. iv. 2. Carol, "Kellys mill" you mentioned, just had to be my g g grandfathers , Joseph Craig Kelly's. He was born 1804 in Henry Co., Ky. He married Nancy Jane Smith and moved to Daviess Co. in 1834, first on land "that cornered at the Tripplet farm and North Panther Creek" so the 1836 deed says. Five children was born to him and his wife. She died in 1845 , and 1849 he married Harriett Courtney Jones [ they had ten children] and they started selling his 1,000 acres near panther Creek and in 1853 he had bought a total of 736 acres "near Blackfort Creek". He had a grist Mill in the first location and then also at his second location. I know the mill was between Blackfort Creek and Lewisport, on the old Lewisport Road. I would so much like to know the exact location! I was born on his farm as were my Dad, grandfather, and great grandfather and still live on a corner acre of his farm near Blackfort Creek.
