My great aunt married into the family and I thought I might be able to find a "cousin" with more information. As for the Browns: William B. Short's wife was Rebecca Brown. She born about 1815. William's son George married Missour Brown born about 1840. My great grandfather's mother was Barthena Brown born about 1825. Do you know anything about these women?
