Allen who was a judge in Cumberland County in the 1800's. My husband's g.grandfather was his son, John Edward Allen who was postmaster at Burkesville for several months in 1893. John married Laura O. Baker in 1893 and sometime between 1900 and 1910 they moved to Perryville, outside of Danville, in Boyle County. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of "William M. Allen's Family" by Robert R. Allen? Wm. Allen was a brother to John Edward.
