    3. The following obituary recently appeared in The News-Gazette, Champaign, Illinois: "Funeral services for Dearul G. Huckleby, 68, of Hoopeston (IL) will be at 1 p.m. Monday (March 20th) at Brown-Alkire Funeral Home, 309 E. Washington St., Hoopeston. Bud McMasters will officiate. Burial will be in Floral Hill Cemetery, Hoopeston. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. "Mr. Huckleby died at 8:06 a.m. Friday, March 17, 2006, at home. He was born Dec. 15, 1937, in Marrowbone, Ky., a son of Joseph H. and Ethel M. Anderson Huckleby. He married Marguerite S. Bogard on Aug. 29, 1959, in Rossville (IL). She survives. "Survivors also include two sons, Harlie Huckleby of Panama City, Fla., and Mark Huckleby of Hoopeston; three daughters, Debbie Watson and Janet Bivans, both of Hoopeston, and Connie Douglas of Rossville; two sisters, Elizabeth McMasters of Monticello, Ind., and Betty Lomax of Hoopeston; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother. "Mr. Huckleby was a supervisor in the winding department at Schumacher Electric Corporation in Hoopeston for 35 years and retired in 1999. He enjoyed fishing, country music and playing the dobro." I have no additional information, and no connection. Hopefully, the obituary will be of interest to someone who is researching this family.
