Kentucky Joseph's parents were: William Washington "Billy" Wells b. 5/21/1842 d. 6/5/1920 Married in 1861 in Cimberland Co. KY. to: Virginia Belle Bledsoe b. 10/11/1844 d. 1/12/1921 both are buried in the Piercey Cemetery in Clainton Co. KY. William Wells parents were: Solomon Wells b. 7/29/1798 d. 1/24/1861 (Solomon was recognized as the first white child that was born in the area that Cumberland County, Kentucky gave up to produce Clinton County, Kentucky). Married 7/15/1841 in Russell Co. KY. to: (Wells, Solomon to Rhoda Vigles. July 15, 1841. Married by R. Higganbottom. 1-28).
