Hello, I a new to the list. I am looking for the Kelley/Kelly family, in particular, J.W. and his wife Almarinda. they are on the 1870 census in Burkesville twp. J.W. was born in Lincoln County, KY and Almarinda was born in Cumberland County. They had a daughter named Emily Jane who married in Livingston County in 1875 to Nicholas Blankenship who was also born in Cumberland County. If this J.W. is who I think he is, then he is my grt grt grandfather who fought w/Union Army, Civil War, 1st TN Mtd infantry. If anyone can connect, or knows any info, or where I might find info, please let me know. I look forward to sharing what I have as well.
