It has been reported that they came from SC to KY circa 1800. They had 4 children: Susannah, Elizabeth, William and Sarah (?) in CUMBERLAND County. Peggy died circa 1811; and as the story goes James left the children with an uncle and disappeared. I do not know anything about James or Peggy or their parents. If you know anything please contact me. I have been looking for them for 40 years. Also, the 4 Mobley children married children of Benjamin Campbell, Jr. Thanks!
