I am about 95% sure she is my great grand mother's mother (Frances H. Short Dunning). I do not know anything about the Smiths. I am also looking for information on some Browns. My great great grandmother was named Barthena Brown Dunning. Do you know where Pine Branch Cemetery is? Also I think you are right about Ruthie being married to a Taylor? I will have to look that up.
