Owens, b. ca 1838, KY. According to the 1850 Cumberland Co. census, Bayley was born in PA ca 1804. In James' Civil War pension file, I found out that he was an only child and his parents lived to be "about 70". The only connection to the Bailey born in 1833 that I can think of is that 1833 might be a nephew of my 1804 Bailey. I haven't found my 1804 Bailey in any other census. I'm still looking for James T and his family in 1870, as the 1880 Barren Co. census lists all the children by their initials, not names. If I find anything on your Bailey, will let you know.
