Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/oAB.2ACE/2509 Message Board Post: As was told to me by my mother and my uncle, William is also known as "Stud". He was a blacksmith. Sarah later married Jim Alan Vincent who is William's uncle(Wm was known as Billy). There are several rocks at Vincent cemetary that aren't marked. It is thought that one of these would be his parents. There are rocks up that have AJ Vincent and others but these are his cousins, and my g-great grandparents. I'll try to contact some of this family that maybe will have some info for you. Good luck and hope this helps. Also your grandmother Genevee's brother had a brother Kendall who died a few years ago, He married my dad's sister, Geneva Burns so we have some of the same cousins. Ironicic would you say? I am trying to find the parents of Leola Short and my other great-grandmother Frances Short Dunning (Dunham). Our last name Dunham is listed as Dunning also. I always thought my grandfather Arch changed it, but I found a census with his father listed as Dunham. It was a 1910 census and my great=great=grandmother Barthena Brown Dunning was listed with him. I would also like to find out where she is buried. Please write me at my email pumalee@webtv.net. Sheri

This list will not be limited to any particular surname, county, or state. You may post messages regarding any ancestor. Myself, or others on the list who may be able to give suggestions or advice, will try to give you some direction. Myself, or other subscribers will try to give specific suggestions as to what sources you might want to check to further your research. 3. Hi all. I am still looking for any, and all desecendants of Barnabus BRANHAM who was in Roane County, TN very early in the 1800's. Some of his relatives remained there. Barnabus, and some of his chidlren. went to Cumberland (later became Clinton) Co., KY in the 1820's. Known children of Barnabus were: Matilda b. 1770-1780 (likely his daughter), Nathaniel, 1784/85, Richard 1789, George Washington 1796. These were by his first wife, whose name is a mystery to me. With his second wife, Mary GREER, he had William 1798, Pleasant abt 1801, John abt. 1805. Alexander abt. 1805, may have also been his son. One of Barnabus's children, and some grandchildren, went to Logan Co., KY. The name may been found as BRANHAM, BRANNUM, BRANUM, and others. Rex W. Bertram 132 S.
