My gr-grandmother was Margaret Garrett, as listed on my grandmother's birth certificate. I don't know who her father was. Margaret Garrett married Andrew Washington Jackson and had a daughter, Annie Gertrude Jackson, who was my grandmother. Annie Gertrude married Haze (Hayes) Branham and they lived their early years in Sumner County, Gallatin, Tennessee. My father's aunt was Audie (Audrey) Garrett, who married Walter (or John Walter) Branham and they also lived in Sumner County, Gallatin, Tennesse most of their lives. I don't know if this connects us, but we know little about the Garretts.

Surnames: Madison, King Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/oAB.2ACE/2553.1.2.1 Message Board Post: John Madison and Isabelle Todd (I've not found proof of Isabelle's last name, although I have seen several posts that it was Todd as you indicate) were the parents of John Madison that married Faitha King and the grandparents of Perry Madison. John and Isabelle Madison were in Cumberland County in the 1840 census, then in Clinton County in the 1850 census, in Edmonson County in the 1860 census and in Pike Co., MO in the 1870 census. I've found no record of them after the 1870 census (they were both in their 80's at that time and living with their son Harold), so I'm assuming they died, but I have no dates and/or burial locations.

I do have a new email, which will be good for a while as yet. I am in the process of moving next weekend. I have sold my home in Brookings, Oregon and am relocating to Bozeman, Montana. Currently my email address is: ograndma@bmi.net I will be going to DSL once the move is made, so email addy will probably change at that time again. May be offline for a week or so during this move. Then I am planning a visit to Missouri by the end of the month. Stay in touch, and once I get back online, I will email you again. Looks as if you have lots of information that I certainly would like to have. We have done the NASH Family DNA Testing, through the DNA website. I have also sent a copy of your message to Erma Herrmann, a NASH cousin that I was put in contact with through this DNA Testing. Her uncle George Edward Nash and my brother Larry Dean Nash did the testing for us. We are in hopes that we can get another NASH family male to take this test from the JOHN W. NASH line still in Missouri. This is one reason that I am making the trip east at the end of this month. Thanks A Bunch, Joyce
