    3. I have heard that Eva Burchett Connor, a Clinton Co. native, died recently. She is a relative of mine, and spent many years researching the Grider family. Could someone please post her obituary, or e-mail me a copy off list?? Thank you. Eva Neeland

    3. Eva was also a great help to me in my research on the Wm Hunter family. I visited in her home and she came to see me in Sherman, Texas. She was a great lady that took her research very seriously and was very willing to share with anyone who asked. So would someone put her obit on the Clinton Co. site that all who are interested might have access to it. 3. Eva: I met Eva Conner once! She knew my family well as Eva was a cousin on the Burchett side. My 3rd great grandmother was a Burchett, sister ot John Calvin Burchett. I am planning a trip to Albany and in that planning was to see her again. Unfortunately that won't happen. She was one of the few people that knew the histories of many down there. I hope someone besides me that knows a lot about the people down there will carry on with the tradition. My condolances to her family.
