Lisa, Who are your Owens? My ggrandfather was Samuel Owens son of Reuben Owens. Samuel came to Clay county, Mo. with his wife Sally, my grandmother, Sarah his 2 brothers, Wesley and Joseph. They were all born in Clinton County. Reuben was married 3 times. His first wife died and had no children. His second wife was the mother of my ggrandfather and his brother Wesley before she died. Reuben's last wife was the mother of Samuel's sister Sally or Sarah, Reuben, and Joseph as far as I have found from census records. I am trying to find the name of Reuben's second wife which on the census says lou E.. Really need to find her maiden name and her given name. Any help would be wonderful or even an idea where to look for it.
