    3. Patrick, The oldest tombstone I have found of a Holsapple in Clinton County is that of William M. He was born on May 6, 1805 and died on April 4, 1886. William M. was the son of Crawford Holsapple and the husband of Nancy (1811-1882). Mr. Holsapple was buried in the Lawson Cemetery. Does anyone know the maiden name of Nancy? Gary D. 3. Gary et al.: William M. Holsapple was married to Nancy Bristow March 29, 1829 at Poplar Mountain, Clinton Co.n To the best of my knowledge, they had five children: Louisa A., Martha Ann., Lucrecia Katherine, Virginia Melissa, and Crawford Louis. I can account for their children and grandchildren, but not for their great-grandchildren. Certainly some of them are the unaccounted for Holsapples throughout Kentucky, but I have been unable to make any connections, especially with the Kentucky Holsapples to the west of Clinton Co. Help anyone. -- Patrick J. McCann, Jr. Dallas, TX CRESCIT SUB PONDERE VIRTUS
