Sidwell, 89, died Tuesday, January 10, 1978, at Metzmeier Nursing Home. He was a native of Clinton County, born there October 13, 1888, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Cornel Sidwell. Mr. Sidwell's wife, Lena Frances, preceded him in death. Survivors include two daughters: Mrs. Edna Hicks and Mrs. Thelma Sidwell, both of Campbellsville; and two step-daughters: Mrs. Pearl Burden of Lebanon, and Mrs. Katherine Holt of Cincinnati, Ohio. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, January 13, at the Lyon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joseph Hicks officiating. Interment followed in the Gaddis Cemetery.
