Gary, Whenever you get a chance, do you have info on the "Colored" cemeteries in Clinton County and also anything for the Harper Cemetery if there is one? Thanks for all your help. Joy Harper Bryant
Joy, I have the following on the Harper Cemetery. It isn't much, but I just have to report what I truly have. Nelson Harper 1862 - July 18, 1956. He was the son of King & Harriet, and the father of Pearl Craft. Nelson was a ex-slave and was buried at the Harper Cemetery. Mahalia Brown Harper - April 20, 1814 - April 5, 1888. She was the wife of William Harper and the mother of Nancy, Joseph, Jim, and Sarah. She was also laid to rest in the Harper Cemetery. This is all I have on this small cemetery. Let me know if I can be of further help. Gary D.
