Is there anyone out there in Clinton county land that has information on the parents of Alexander Hays (Hay) or the parents of his wife Elizabeth "Travis" Hays? Alexander Hays was born in 1777 in Virginia. Elizabeth Travis was born in 1779, location unknown. They were married on Sep 24, 1799 in Green county, TN The both died on the same date, Dec 27, 1863, and are buried in Hays Cemetery, Clinton County, KY Does anyone have any information on the cause of their deaths? Alexander and Elizabeth are my ggg-grandparents through their daughter Emaline "Hays" Beaty (Beatty) who married James P. Beaty on Sept. 16, 1838 in Clinton Co. Also looking for info on the death and burial location of James P. Beaty who died on May 11, 1856. Any information on the Hays, Travis or Beatty (Beaty) families would be greatly appreciated. I have information on Beaty, Beatty, that moved from Clinton county, to Macoupin County, IL, then to Kansas and Oklahoma. I will be happy to share with anyone interested.
