    3. There is an old Travis Cemetery located just a few feet inside Clinton County, Kentucky. It is very near the Fentress County land which became Pickett County. Gary D. 3. Willie, I finally got around to checking out the Old Travis Cemetery site. It was quite an adventure. I had to fight my way into and out of that bloody place. Briars and constant. It really needs a good cleaning off. Take the Chanute Road off Highway 127 at the Chanute Church. Go past the old grocery store with the Mobil sign. Go anther 1/2 mile and you will start downhill to an intersection with the Kentucky State Road 696. About 50-75 yards from that junction and about 50 yards off the right side of the road you will see a tiny hillock covered with lots of trees and briars. That is the cemetery. The coordinates Are: 36º 37' 26" North and 85º 02' 91" West.
