Here my first cousin Obits Hazel A. Holcomb, 75 March 24, 1928 - AUG. 9, 2003 SPENCER - Hazel A. Holcomb, 75, of Spencer, died Saturday at her residence. Born Mar. 24, 1928, in Manchester, Ky., she was the daughter of William and Victoria (Napier) Ball. She was a homemaker, a member of Lifeway Baptist Church, and a 50-year member of Order of the Eastern Star in Kentucky. Survivors include one daughter, Debbie Holcomb of Spencer; three brothers, Virgil Ball of Brookville and Henry L. Ball and Estill Ball, both of West Harrison; one sister, Mary Sandlin of Spencer; two grandchildren, Holly Watson and Matt Cazzell; and three great-grandchildren, Brayton Wyatt, Caitlyn Watson and Megan Vernon. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William C. Holcomb, in January 1994; two brothers, Oakley Ball and Leonard Ball; and one sister, Ethel Ball. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Spencer Baptist Church, with Pastor Kevin Albert and the Rev. Shannon Benham officiating. Burial will be at Chambersville Cemetery. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Monday at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home, and 1-2 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Bloomington Hospice in care of the funeral home.
