    2. Same line just different generations. Yes, William is the son of Samuel. Samuel is son of Ansel, Ansel is son of John, who is son of Anselm, who is son of James, who is son of Robert, then Isaac, then John, then William, then Richard and that is about as far back as anyone has searched.
