Denise, I find no WYNN males listed in the Clay Co. Index of Marriages for 1807 - 1923. There is no Alice Lawson listed in the bride index either. Could you possibly have meant Swan Pond, Ky. as the birth place for your grandfather? There is a Swan Pond in Knox Co., Ky. Wynn and Alice Lawson or a Lawson and a Wynn...the reason i'm being so cheap on the names is because my great grandpa wynn sure had alot of names...in the 1900 census for whitley he was list as cain born 2/1878 born in ky...on his son's death and marriage license he is listed as canner and caner Wynn...on his 2nd daughters death cert he's listed as caynor Wynn and on his 3rd and last child's death cert he listed as caynor Wynn..so you see why this man has me so confused...I know that my grandpa his son John Wynn was born on 1/2/1903 and his last sister was born on 3/26/1907 all in swan lake ky...his wife alice Lawson was remarried to William Bennett and had the 1st of 4 children with mr bennett in 1911..William Bennett and Alice Lawson Wynn Bennett were married in 1910 i've only found the wynn family together once with no children yet born to th! em in 1900 when they were married...could someone please help me..i've looked for this man for so long...I can't go back any further untill I know his true identity...maybe this name was a middle name or something...but it's pretty obvious it's the name he went by..it says he was born in clay co in one of the death certs that was filled out for his middle child mary jane Wynn...SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME FIND THIS MAN!
