Does anyone know anything about this Robertson line? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hi Becky! I'm Vernona Sanders Robertson in Moore, Ok. I was wondering if this Julius Robertson is the same as my husband's grandfather, b 1840, Clay Co, Ky. If this is so, I have more information for you on our line. In the Robertson Family Bible in possession of Norah Robertson Sisney,d 1966,OK ,from the copy. This is what I have. I would like to make a connection if possible. I have no father's name of Julius, but I do have a mother. I do believe that the father could possibly be Charles. I was wondering if you have any connections for me. I'm at a standstill about any further info. Was still in Manchester, Clay Co, 1864-1873 as 6 children were born while there. Lived in Gallatin, Daviess Co, Mo, 1875-76, 2 children born there. Lived in LaCyne, Linn Co, Ks, 1 child born while there. 1880 US Census shows them in Ks. and of course I don't have anything for 1890.... I believe that he married Annie sometime after 1900, because he was living with James Madison Robertson(son) and it shows the age of 60,wd, and mother father to be from KY....not sure about this one. I do have Julius Robertson age 70, wd, back in Laurel Co, Crossroads voting precinct, KY,on the 1910 census married to a Annie age 47, b Iowa, wife, son Julius,b 1904,Ok, Annie, dau,b Ok 1903,stepdau. Maybel Young, age 18, b Iowa, Stepson Phillip Young, age 16,b Iowa. I also have a death certificate for Julius Robertson, dated July 1915 in Clackamus, Clackamus Co, Oregon. mother was listed as a Parker/Tucker/Hollingsworth, informant was Phillip Young and I think it was his stepson on the census in Laurel Co,Ky. Also, 1920 US Census, shows Annie Robertson with the previously mentioned children and shows her to be widowed. I don't know where in Oklahoma Julius, son and Annie, Dau were born, but the Robertson's settled in Blaine Co, Geary Oklahoma, Also, in Canadian Towhship. may have been there. I haven't got that checked out. On all the censuses that I have it shows his parents to be born in NC. On the Oregon Death Index 1903-98 Record it shows a Julius Charlie Robertson, Clackamus Co.b 20 Jun 1904, d 16 Jan 1993, age 89. This is the son of my husband's grandfather I believe. I have more info, due to the fact that my husband was part of his son Robert Potter Robertson's second family. I don't know if any of this will help or not, but if so, let me know. Thanks for answering so quickly. This Robertson/Robinson business is baffling. Thanks again, Vernona --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Everyone is raving about the all-new Yahoo! Mail.
