Was this Granville Philpot born in 1893 and was he the son of Daniel Boone Philpot b. 1866? If so I have Daniel's wife as Martha Hacker b. 1867. Is this the family you are discussing? If so I would like to know the descendants of Granville. Thanks, Jerry Philpot.
Hi, Jerry, Just got this post - too late and too tired to respond tonight but will as soon as possible. We are talking about two different Granville Philpots here. Will elaborate on both when I respond. Question: How did the Granville name get into the Philpot family? Is it a surname of a female or ? I ask because a Smallwood descendant used the name for a son and we have been trying to work back to the William and Sarah Philpot Smallwood couple. Thanks for helping me.
